Interventions

You do not have to wait for 'rock bottom' before getting help.

There is a widely believed misconception that someone has to hit 'rock-bottom' and has to ask for help in order to have a chance of recovery.

Fortunately that is not the case. Unfortunately, this has caused a great deal of harm to many thousands of people. We have all seen people who have been struggling with some issue in their lives and found it difficult to ask for assistance. Sometimes it just requires someone to ask, offer or nudge you in the right direction in order for you to accept the help you need.

An intervention is a formal way of doing this. We use a compassionate and collaborative approach to gather people around the suffering person and assist them in making the right choices for themselves. When it has come to the point that our loved ones are worried it is often past the point where we are able to make rational choices for ourselves.

We have many years of experience to help guide and lead you through this process, working collaboratively with you every step of the way and providing the emotional and practical support that family and friends often require at this point.
